Germany is pursuing the ambitious goal of becoming climate neutral by the year 2045. As a successful industrial company, EJOT supports this ambitious project of the German government. In concrete terms, this means that we are transferring our previous efforts to save energy and CO2 into a sustainability project.

In the course of this sustainability project, the EJOT group wants to move towards real greenhouse gas reductions.
After this decision of the holding management, the communication tool "Greenhouse Gas International" was launched at the beginning of 2021. Strategic goals to achieve climate neutrality will thus be implemented step by step also in our international locations. For new and renovated buildings, such as EJOT Turkey, EJOT U.K. and EJOT SE, the sustainability concept is already kept in mind during the planning phases in order to reduce CO2e emissions.
In line with our one hundred year anniversary in 2022, EJOT commits to three core statements, further developing the strategy towards a climate neutral company by 2035.

For us it is always a great concern to also show regional presence in active climate protection. With our reforestation projects TREEATHLON® in Germany and Great Britain brownfields will be reforested together with our employees in 2022. In France, EJOT is a member of a regional energy supply project that generates renewable energy and markets it locally.
With our activities to save energy and increase energy efficiency, we effectively promote and shape the transformation to a sustainable and climate-neutral company.

Our interested parties

Our employees, customers, suppliers and also the state and society rank among the most important interested parties. Motivated and happy employees can push the company forward with ideas of their own. They are directly involved in value creation for the company. Regular professional training increases our employees' expertise.

Our innovative products and adherence to specific requirements make our customers another relevant stakeholder group.  

EJOT accepts only select and proven suppliers. This is ensured through supplier audits and declarations. Our EJOT Compliance policy is the basis for a successful business relationship.

Noncompliance with ancillary conditions or legal requirements can have direct repercussions on the company. Expectations on the part of the state and society (e.g. public authorities) are high, since compliance with legal issues has to be satisfied and protection of the environment has a high social acceptance. That is why EJOT acts in close concert with public authorities. Risks, but opportunities too, are identified and assessed early on by internal monitoring.
